Helper Motor Upgrade Project Phase 1

The work scope involved Construction, Installation and Commissioning Activities of Transformers, Reactors and Upgrade of VSDS Excitation System of the below:

• Replacement of Five 8.7MW Transformers with 14 MW Transformers, Ten units of 8.7MW Reactors with 14MW Reactors
• Upgrade of Five VSDS
• Upgrade of Five Excitation Systems
• Commissioning of the new 14MW Transformers and Reactors with an upgraded VSDS and Excitation System.
