Obiafu-Obrikom (Ob-Ob) Gas Plant Upgrade

The full project scope covered Engineering, Procurement and Construction for the OB/OB Gas Plant for gas supply to NLNG. Desicon scope focused on;

Electrical

• 11kv Switchgears
• 0.4kv switchgears
• Power cables and control cables
• Earthing and lighting systems
• Cathodic Protection system

Civil & Structural

• Foundations for the equipment’s and shelter
• Erection of a new shelter complete with bridge cranes
• Modification of the existing bridge cranes
• Erection of a new rack supporting the interconnecting piping to and fro air coolers.

Mechanical & Piping

• Supervision and installation of Sales Gas Compression Package – 6570-K-01 E
• Supervision and installation of MP Gas Compression Package – 6520-K-01 E
• Upgrade of MP/HP Gas Compressor manifolds
• Modification of U/G Piping
• Integration of plant / Instrument air system and other utility systems.

Fire & Gas

• Installation and upgrading of fire-fighting systems
